my favorite piece this quarter.
i like the simplicity of this. i really wanted to do something portrait-like with ink.
for some reason, it was sooo hard for me to take a good picture of this piece! i feel like there are areas of shading missing from it. i still think it's interesting, though. (this is my met piece inspired by picasso's dying bull.)
i wanted to use colored pencils because i hadn't used them in a while. i like how i blended the colors; i think i can still do more with the negative space in the background. (this was a rework of a summer project that i never finished.)
i kinddd of like this. i really want to get better at abstract/graphic things!
wooo! the gold thing still kind of bothers me, though.
I really like the first piece (the red, purple, and green bottles with the drapery) because I feel that it is the most realistic out of all of these pieces ( the other ones are good too!) and I especially like how you picked up the colors in the white/cream fabric to make them more brown and green, which is a good contrast to the purple and green bottles.
